Dan Curran, a fullback star of the Arena Football League, signed a one year contract with the Saints worth $230,000. New Orleans wanted to sign him for 10 days, but heard that other teams may have been interested, so they locked him up. To make room for him, the Saints released tight end Spencer Fredrick.

The Saints have also signed kicked Rob Hart to a one year contract, making him the third kicker on the team. There is a good chance he won't make the team since John Carney has the spot pretty much locked. Hart played for Scotland in NFL Europe this year.
