A Miami Dolphins running back has been suspended for the first four games of the regular season for violating the league's steroid policy. Get this - it's not Ricky Williams; it's Sammy Morris.
It was reported by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel and the Palm Beach Post that Morris tested positive for ephedrine during the 2005 season, but team officials declined to comment. Morris was supposed to be Ronnie Brown's primary backup this year, but that won't be the case to begin the season. The only indication the Dolphins would make regarding the situation is the fact that they'll be looking for depth at the position.
"It's an area we've always had some interest in trying to improve, even in the offseason," Saban said. "We'll continue to do that in the next 48 hours to see if someone can add some experience for us."
Two people the Dolphins may be interested in are Lee Suggs and William Green of the Cleveland Browns. One or both of them could be cut from the Browns roster, but have drawn interest around the league.
