With the nineteenth pick in the NFL Draft, the San Diego Chargers selected cornerback Antonio Cromartie of Florida State. His stock has risen over the past few weeks, pushing him ahead of cornerback Jimmy Williams. The Chargers were originally considering a wide receiver, but passed on Chad Jackson and Santonio Holmes.

The Chargers needed some help in their secondary, but I still believe they should have gone with a receiver in round one.
