The Seattle Seahawks have released starting wide receiver Koren Robinson from his contract. The team may have cut him due to salary cap issues, but they may have also done it due to his off the field problems.
Last season, Robinson had to serve a four game suspension due to substance abuse. It was unclear if Robinson would suffer any furthur penalities this season.
Several teams should be interested in Robinson, even though he was one of the guys in Seattle who dropped balls often.
Last year, Robinson had 31 catches for 495 and two touchdowns. His best season was in 2002 when he had 78 catches for 1,240 yards. The Seahawks still have Darrell Jackson as their number one wide receiver.
