As if the Seattle Seahawks weren't riding high enough right now, they learned that two more players on their team would be joining the NFC for the Pro Bowl. Seahawks C Robbie Tobeck and rookie LB Lofa Tatupu were added to the roster to replace LB Brian Urlacher and Olin Kreutz, who both play for the Chicago Bears.
They will join G Steve Hutchinson, OT Walter Jones, RB Shaun Alexander, FB Mack Strong, and QB Matt Hasselbeck.
"It's a real honor and a humbling thing to reach that goal," said Tobeck. "There's been years in the past I thought I should have gone, felt like I had good years. Part of it is being on a good team and being surrounded by good guys. ... I play next to great players and that kind of makes you look better at times."
Tatupu has been a key factor in the Seahawks' defense, despite being just a rookie.
"I just couldn't believe it," Tatupu said. "I am just grateful and very thankful that I am to represent the Seahawks with all the other guys."
