The St. Louis Rams have signed their first round draft choice, Steven Jackson to a five year deal. Jackson was the 24th overall pick, and the first running back taken in this years draft.

Jackson is supposed to be the person to replace Marshall Faulk once his career is over.

Jackson has put up impressive college stats. Last year, Jackson had 1,545 yards rushing and 19 touchdowns. He also caught 44 passes for 470 yards and three touchdowns.

The Rams have now signed five of their seven draft picks.
