A week after an agreement was reached, the contract was made official Friday March 16. Running back T.J. Duckett has signed a one-year deal with the Detroit Lions.

The first round draft pick of the 2002 draft played his first four seasons in Atlanta. He was traded to the Washington Redskins before the 2006 season, where he had 132 yards on only 38 carries.

In his five years, the 254 pound back has 2,307 rushing yards and 33 touchdowns for his career.
