Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Terrell Owens has been suspended indefinitely by the Philadelphia Eagles. This may leave a major hole on the Eagles' offense, which has struggled to get off to a fast start during games the past few weeks.

Two days ago, Owens criticized the Eagles' organization for not recognizing his 100th career touchdown. Owens apologized on Friday, but it was too late to say sorry.

Ownens is officially being suspended for detrimental conduct towards the team. The Eagles organization would not comment apst that.

The Eagles have a huge game against the Washington Redskins this week. In danger of missing the playoffs this year due to a strong division, the Eagles need all the help they can get.

Rookie Reggie Brown will get the start in place of Owens.

Here is what Owens said a few days ago about his milestone not being mentioned: "That right there just shows you the type of class and integrity that they claim not to be. They claim to be first class and the best organization. It's an embarrassment. It just shows a lack of class they have. My publicist talked to the head PR guy, and they made an excuse they didn't recognize that was coming up. But that was a blatant lie. Had it been somebody else, they probably would have popped fireworks around the stadium."

On top of that, Owens claimed that he felt the Eagles would be an undefeated team if Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre was leading the team.

"A number of commentators will say he's a warrior, he's played with injuries," Owens said. "I feel like him being knowledgeable about the quarterback position, I feel like we'd probably be in a better situation."

Greg Lewis will be the other starting wide receiver still.
