After losing veteran receiver
Drew Bennett in the offseason, the team signed receiver
Eric Moulds to a deal. Moulds will bring a veteran presence to the team for quarterback
Vince Young.
"Eric is a proven and productive receiver in this league," said Titans general manager Mike Reinfeldt. "He provides us a big target with sure hands and his veteran leadership is a valuable addition to our receiving corps."
Moulds spent last season with the Houston Texans after playing with the Buffalo Bills for 10 seasons. Although Moulds didn't explode last year with Houston, he showed that he's still capable of playing in the NFL. Moulds can probably step in as a starter for the Titans to help guide the young receivers on the roster.
"We got a lot of guys that are going to be good weapons but at the same time I think my job is to come in here and compete for a job and at the same time try to help those guys get better and help the team get better," Moulds said.
