The Tennessee Titans have lost rookie WR Brandon Jones for the rest of the season after he tore his right ACL. Earlier this week, Fisher had hoped that Jones would be good to go after a week or two, but that's not the case.
"After a series of tests, it has been determined that he has torn his ACL," Fisher said. "He will need reconstructive surgery. He'll have it in the next week to 10 days."
Jones, selected in the third round, has been fairly impressive this year. He has started eight games this year and has 23 catches for 299 yards with two touchdowns. Jones had been starting along with WR Drew Bennett, who made his return against the San Francisco 49ers last week.
QB Steve McNair and RB Chris Brown are nursing injuries for the Titans, but they should be good to go this week.
