According to Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher, he has not decided who will start in this week's opener against the New York Jets. Kerry Collins, Billy Volek, or Vince Young all have a shot at starting.

The decision is not expected to be announced until right before the game. It would be a huge surprise if Young is named the starter, which would make it strange as to why the team would even bother signing Collins in the first place. Even if Volek starts, I would still have to wonder what the purpose of Collins would be.

Basically, if Collins does not start this week, that will be the real surprise. Collins is currently listed No. 1 on the depth chart, but that doesn't assure him of the starting role.
