According to the Tennessean, Titans' running back Chris Brown may begin a holdout if he does not receive a new contract or is not traded as soon as possible. Brown is not happy in Tennessee, especially since Travis Henry and LenDale White are breathing down his neck for playing time. Brown's agent, Wynn Silberman, is scheduled to meet with Titans GM Floyd Reese to discuss a trade or an extension.
"We are trying to act as professionally as we can and work with Floyd and the Titans, and either coming to a conclusion or an extension is a possibility or not. And if it isn't, we want him out of there. That is where we're at," Silberman said.
The Titans will probably have to trade Brown in all likelihood. With two other runners behind him, and the team not ready to commit to Brown as their full-time starter, it just wouldn't make sense. At this time, we do not know if there are any frontrunners interested in acquiring Brown.
