The Tennessee Titans released running back Damien Nash on Monday. Nash, the Titans fifth-round draft pick from 2005, was caught in a situation where there were four people ahead of him on the depth chart - Chris Brown, LenDale White, Travis Henry, and Jarrett Payton. To make things worse, Nash wasn't in the proper shape that the team expected him to be in.

"Damien came in and he had some difficulty just getting it," Fisher said. "He was doing well in May, then kind of tailspinned out and was in no kind of shape and was overweight. To me, I want guys that are committed to what we're doing."

Last year, Nash carried the ball six times for 32 yards. Another team will probably take a chance on Nash and invite him to their training camp.
