-
Pittsburgh Steelers starting quarterback Tommy Maddox will be out six weeks with a torn ligament in his elbow.

Last season, the Steelers would have been in trouble by having only Charlie Batch to go to. This year though, they can turn to Ben Roethlisberger, the rookie from Miami of Ohio.

Roethlisberger did have some knee problems last week, but he looks to be over that. If something happens, the Steelers will turn to Brian St. Pierre or Antwann Randle El. They will probably sign a veteran though while Maddox is injured.
