There is a good chance that Tommy Maddox will be named the starting quarterback for this week's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Ben Roethlisberger is listed as doubtful on the team's injury report at the moment.

"You're always excited about the opportunity to play," Maddox said.

Maddox was originally expected to miss up to 3-4 weeks due to a calf injury. He has made progress though, and it appears that Maddox would get the go ahead over Charlie Batch.
