UCLA HB Maurice Drew has decided to forgo his senior season and enter the NFL Draft.
Drew dedicates his decision to his grandfather, who suffered a heart attack at a UCLA game earlier this season, and later died. Drew says it was a decision his grandfather wanted him to make.
Drew ran for 914 yards and 13 touchdowns for the Bruins this season. On top of that, he also ran back three punts for touchdowns. Drew owns the UCLA record for most career all-purpose yards, and the Division 1A record for highest punt return average in a season.
Maurice Drew projects early as a first day draft pick as a kick returner and situational halfback.
