The Minnesota Vikings have aquired linebacker Sam Cowart from the New York Jets for a draft pick. The round of the draft pick has not been disclosed as of yet.

The Vikings have been very busy this off-season to upgrade their defense, including the signing of Fred Smoot and Darren Sharper.
