The Minnesota Vikings were eliminated from playoff contention after a Week 16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. After going on a hot six-game winning streak, the Vikings have lost their past two games to the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens.

The Vikings lost to the Ravens 30-23. The Vikings were unfortunate to run into a red-hot Kyle Boller, who has now thrown for seven touchdowns in his past two games. The Vikings defense, which was the key to their success during their winning streak, let them down.

The loss marks the first time this season that the Vikings have lost after leading after halftime. They were 6-0 until this game.

With Brad Johnson and the Vikings being eliminted, there are still a lot of teams trying to clinch a playoff spot in the NFC. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers, Washington Redskins, and Dallas Cowboys will all be fighting for positions. Tampa Bay, Carolina, and Washington control their own path if they win, but the Cowboys need some help.
