baby NFL players in their personal lives. After what has happened around nightclubs lately, that may be the best idea. Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Travis Taylor was arrested early on Monday, hours after the team's season finale loss to the St. Louis Rams, 41-21. Taylor was arrested was told by an officer to get out of their way as they tried to move a large crowd. Taylor refused and began to push the officer, which is when the officer used a Taser on him.
Taylor was taken to Hennepin County Jail on allegations of fifth-degree assault, disorderly conduct, and interfering with pedestrian or vehicular traffic. He was released near 4:40 AM after posting $50 bail. Taylor started every game for the Vikings this season, his first with the team. He caught 57 passes for 651 yards.
"It was just a misunderstanding and an unfortunate situation," said Taylor on Monday. "I was just in a limo and got pulled out. We'll discuss that later and we'll deal with the situation."
Too many Vikings have had trouble with the law, and Taylor's actions only add to the list.
