-
The Arizona Cardinals have decided to end the quarterback competition before the main part of training camp even began. Cardinals head coach Dennis Green named Kurt Warner the starting quarterback in favor of last years starter, Josh McCown.

Originally, Warner was going to have to "compete" with McCown, although everyone expected Warner to win easily. Now that it's official, it's probably better for the organization so that they can focus on Warner as their main guy.

McCown will be the backup and John Navarre will be the third man.
