Troy Vincent is going to play football again this season. The Washington Redskins signed Vincent to a deal after their secondary has been torched this season. Vincent, a five-time Pro Bowler, was released by the Buffalo Bills due to his request since he was on the injured reserve.

Vincent, a 15-year veteran, injured his hamstring in the preseason, and was upset to have been placed on the injured reserve so soon. The Redskins tried to upgrade their defense in the offseason, but they have not been good at defending the pass this year. Even Titans rookie quarterback Vince Young was able to defeat them this past week.

Last year, Vincent had a career high 102 tackles and four interceptions. He was the seventh overall pick of the 1992 draft.
