It is time for week seven of NFL football. The New England and New York Jets game is much anticipated. Now that it is nearing the half way point of the season, these games mean more and more every week. Let's get on with the predictions, starting with the games of the week...

NYJ vs. New England
Despite both teams being 5-0, you can't go against the Patriots yet. The odds are still stacked against the Jets at the moment. The game is being played in New England, and the Patriots have won so many games in a row. The Jets should challenge the Patriots in the beginning of the game, but I think the Patriots will have a good lead by the fourth quarter.

Tennessee vs. Minnesota
Daunte Culpepper is having an unbelievable season. No one has stopped him yet(except the Eagles somewhat), and with how bad the Titans have been at times, they don't look too good in this game. The Titans are coming off a loss to the Texans, a game they should have won. McNair is not having the MVP season that he had last season, and there is no real explanation for why. The Vikings could easily blow this game wide open.

Jacksonville vs. Indianapolis
Peyton Manning did an excellent job against the Jaguars when he faced them the first time, but the Jags kept the game competitive. Now the Colts have a greater advantage with being at home. They are also coming off a bye week, and should be refreshed. Byron Leftwich is battling injuries, but shouldn't have enough to beat the Colts.

Dallas vs. Green Bay
I picked the Packers to win the Super Bowl this season. When they faced the Lions last week, that's the team I expected to see this season. The Packers started slow last year and finished strong. They could be on track to do the same thing with a win here. They must win this game, especially since it is a home game. The Cowboys should have beat the Steelers last week, but didn't close out the game. Having Quincy Morgan is a nice little sub-plot in this game for the Cowboys though.

And now, the rest of the week...

Buffalo vs. Baltimore
Buffalo has a good defense, but the Ravens defense is better. The reason I picked the Bills though is because of their offense. It's nothing spectacular, in fact Bledsoe gets sacked so often. But the Bills offense is certainly better than the Ravens, especially with Jamal Lewis being suspended. This is a big opportunity for the Bills to pull an upset on the Ravens. It's not like the Bills can contend anymore, but they are fighting for respect.

San Diego vs. Carolina
It's not too good for the Panthers when they enter the game this week, having to consider using fullback Brad Hoover as their running back. Like I say week after week, the Panthers are killed by injuries. The Chargers have a good offense this season, and have just added Keenan McCardell. The Panthers defense isn't that great anymore it seems, so the Chargers should take advantage in this game.

Philadelphia vs. Cleveland
Before you think I'm an idiot, just listen. Being a Browns fan, I can't help but to pick the Browns. If they win, I would kick myself that I didn't pick them. However, I do realize that the Browns do not have a very good chance of winning. The Jeff Garcia and Terrell Owens subplot should be very interesting in this game. The Browns are 3-0 at home, but then you see that the Eagles are 2-0 on the road.

Atlanta vs. Kansas City
I just can't give up on the Chiefs yet. I still think they have the potential to come back. Almost every game they've lost has been right at the end in a heartbreaker. Vick and the Falcons are rolling, but maybe Trent Green can bring some of the Arrowhead magic back to this Chiefs team.

St. Louis vs. Miami
Opposite of New England, I will not pick the Dolphins anymore until they win a game. Fiedler seems to throw an interception every game, and what do you know...the Dolphins lose by a touchdown or less. The Rams have a good enough offense to get through this game.

Detroit vs. New York Giants
Could the New York Giants actually be challenging the Philadelphia Eagles for the division this season? The Lions were killed by the Packers last week, while the Giants had a bye. Tiki Barber is having an MVP-like season, and Kurt Warner has done nothing but exceed expectations this year.

Chicago vs. Tampa Bay
The Buccaneers have started showing some offense, while the Bears just have done nothing since Grossman went down. The Bucs should dominate this game in every aspect and get their second win.

Seattle vs. Arizona
After starting off as a possible Super Bowl contender, the Seahawks have disappointed me with a collapse to the Rams and not showing up with their "A" game against the Patriots. However, a cure should come against the Cardinals to get them back on track. Jerry Rice should help the Seahawks have less dropped passes.

New Orleans vs. Oakland
The Saints offense has looked better with Deuce back in the lineup, and they almost could have beat the Vikings last week. Oakland has really been blowing it offensively, and have really disappointed me this season.

Denver vs. Cincinnati
Sounds like an exciting Monday Night Game, doesn't it? The Browns should have beaten the Bengals about 41-0 last week, and the Bronco's should be able to destroy the Bengals in this game. The Bengals don't really have a home field advantage, so I doubt they will be able to muster anything special.

Last Week's Record: 10-4
Season Record: 54-34
Current Survivor Winning Streak: 6 games(Tennessee over Miami in week one, New England over Arizona in week two, Seattle over San Francisco in week three, New England over Buffalo in week four, Indianapolis over Oakland in week five, Philadelphia over Carolina in week six.)

I am on a roll. For six weeks straight, my survivor pick has been correct. I actually feel quite confident that my pick this week will be correct. I am taking the Denver Broncos to beat the Cincinnati Bengals.

That's it for this weeks picks. And by the way, what a comeback the Red Sox made against the Yankees. I was rooting for them all the way, and I hope they win the World Series.
