Here are some minor injury reports for week one.

Emmitt Smith bruised his thigh after carrying four times for 22 yars. It is most likely a precaution, but they can't afford to lose Smith with Shipp already out.

Dolphins backup cornerback Korey Banks injured his spine. The injury should not be serious.

San Francisco 49'ers Pro Bowl fullback Fred Beasley sprained his left ankle against the Raiders. X-rays were negative, and he should be fine.
